Method 4: Boot your Android Device on Safe Mode.

  1. Please press and hold the Volume Down and Power keys for a few seconds.
  2. When you see the logo of your Android device, please release the Power key immediately but continue pressing the Volume Down key.
  3. Then your Android device must continue booting up and you will be asked to unlock your device as usual.
  4. If the text “Safe mode” is displayed at the lower-left corner of the screen, so it show that your device successfully booted in Safe mode.


Method 5: Check the Notification Under Application Manager.

  1. Please go to Settings.
  2. Then tap Applications and tap Application Manager.
  3. Please find the app that you want to enable/disable notification.
  4. When you find it, please tap on it.
  5. Afterwards please search for a checkbox that named “Show Notification”.
  6. Next you have to tap it to put a green check on it and vice versa
  7. The last, you can go back to the main screen and try sending email to make sure if notification sound is enabled or not.
